The Queen's Monster, Chapter #13
Chapter 13
The ball was going swimmingly. The food was perfect, the music was perfect, the dancing was perfect, the clothing was perfect; everything was perfect. The Queen had received a multitude of compliments from all the ambassadors on every aspects of the party. It made Elsa beam from joy since she had worked so hard to put it all together.
Elsa mingled with the crowd, striking up random conversations with whomever wanted to speak with her but politely declining any offers to dance because she still had trouble learning the art. Anna had tried to teach her but the poor girl often ended with more than one bruise on her feet.
Elsa looke
More than the stars in the sky
or the drops in the ocean
more than the sunsets in a lifetime
or the seconds in a day
I love you more than
Britain loved the Beatles
or Wisconsin loves cheese
What lives in my heart
that holds you above all else
cannot be measured by mere words
It can only be felt
and only I can feel it
I want a partner in crime
I want someone who is in this
one hundred thousand percent
Someone who feels as solely
responsible for this life
as I always have
Someone who is about ours
not his, not mine
Someone who worries
and someone who cares
I get scared of the what ifs
and scared of the loss
I want someone who won't
walk away just because
this becomes harder
I want to share my life
not just the easy parts,
the pretty, shiny parts
but the dark, scary stuff
I want to give him
everything I have
but I want someone
who will do the same
I want us
Not you,
not me
Us
It should always
be about us.
Okay,
I think I finally found out what love is.
Is it when,
The sight of her,
Turns your heart,
To her element.
If so, iron man you got some competition,
Because I’m in the position to fly,
No suit needed.
When she isn’t around my heart is bleeding.
I just, want her and only her.
We can fight til morning,
But please don’t leave,
If you do, at least,
Punch a hole,
Through my soul,
So in my next life,
I will still have your imprint,
But while we are still living this one,
I want you close, no space for an indent.
We can have fun together,
Whether or not the weather is kind.
The harsh sun couldn’t burn
The galaxies I see
